If your Auto Insurance deductible is $500.00   Plan cost $49.95

Luxury Auto deductible plans up to $1,000.00 Plan cost $89.95

How can they do it, you may ask?

We are a nationwide auto repair referral program. We combine our advertising and the buying power of all our members to create a huge purchasing consortium. This allows each member to save up to 20-40% percent on painting material incidentals, such like high-quality fine sandpaper, masking tape, rolls of paper, decals, mixers, welding rods,  paint and thinner.  These are just a few items but they account for a large portion of a typical body shops monthly operating expenses.

When you think about it the average collision repair work order costs the body shop about $500.00 in these painting materials alone. By  participating in our network member shops typically save an average of 20-30% on these costs. So the shop owner can absorb a typical auto insurance deductible of $500.00 and still make a profit.

The more vehicles that are repaired the more materials that the body shop needs to purchase, which means the body shops spends more, so our members save more, sometimes up to 50%.  Its not the same price if your looking to buy 10 rolls of tape or 12 quarts of paint compared to buying a truck load. The plan fee's help cover the costs involved of administration of the program, ,product insurance coverage expense and  supports advertising, claim losses and site maintenance. More importantly it can save you the insured hundreds of dollars by simply electing a higher deductible on your auto policy's collision and comprehensive coverage, thus paying a lower auto insurance premium. In most cases these savings are several hundred dollars annually on a typical auto policy, making the costs of our repair deductible program practically free.

ABOUT AUTO DEDUCTIBLES:

For example, a person might have an automobile insurance policy with a $500 deductible on collision coverage. If this person were in an accident that did $800 worth of damage to the vehicle, then the insurance company would pay him or her $300. The insured is responsible for the first $500 of damage (the deductible), and the insurance company pays the balance. Under this example your GMS deductible plan would cover the $500.00 deductible. Note: your verified insurance claim / damage estimate must exceed the deductible on your auto policy and plan you purchased here, as long as the vehicle is not a total lost the repair deductible would be covered 100% under our plan.

Generally speaking, in an auto insurance policy, the deductible is the amount of expenses that must be paid out of pocket before an insurer will pay any loss. It is normally quoted as a fixed quantity and is a part of most policies covering losses to the policy holder. The deductible must be paid by the insured, before the benefits of the policy can apply. Typically, a general rule is: the higher the deductible, the lower the premium, and vice versa. Depending on the policy, the deductible may apply per covered incident.

Deductibles can also differ depending on the cause of the claim: the same policy can contain varying deductibles which are applied to loss or damage arising from theft, fire, natural perils, etc. For example, a collision claim may have a deductible of $500, for theft, $1,000 and for natural perils such as windstorm or flood claim a different deductible.

In a typical automobile insurance policy, a deductible will apply to claims arising from damage to or loss of the policy holder's own vehicle, whether this damage/loss is caused by accidents for which the holder is responsible, or vandalism and theft.

Third-party liability coverage including auto liability, general liability, and garage keepers, are also written with deductibles. These deductibles on commercial liability policies are known as third party deductibles or liability deductibles. Because the insured and claimant are not the same entity, insurers cannot pay the claim minus the deductible. This creates a receivable owed from the insured to the insurer or insurance company. Due to the complexity of identifying these third party deductible receivables many are often missed by the insurer/insured causing hundred’s thousands of dollars to go uncollected.

Deductible vs. Excess
A deductible may also be known as excess. However, an excess and deductible are slightly different, even though they are generally used as synonyms.
An excess is an amount a policyholder must bear before the liability passes to the insurer (subject to the sum insured). Whereas a deductible is an amount deducted from the claim amount.

Typically the only case where a deductible is different to an excess is when the claim amount is greater than the sum insured. Under an excess, the policyholder pays the excess amount first, but is still insured for the full sum insured. Whereas under a deductible, the most a claim can be is the claim amount less the deductible. Who qualifies for a no-deductible program? If you are auto storage or parking facility, valet service, ETC. you would benefit by covering your liability policy deductible for covered auto repair damage claims caused by you to another. Certain restrictions apply and it’s best to contact us first so we may review your existing garage keepers policy and provide you a hassle free, guaranteed quote.
